Sony Simply launched the Xperia XZ3 in IFA in August, and it looks to be Focusing on Attracting a new mid-range Xperia XA3 series to the market.
The Sony Xperia XA3 and Xperia XA3 Ultra have been leaked in renders and videos hinting at an impending launch. Both the devices have been seen sporting a comparable layout language with thin chins on top and bottom, and slight bezels on the left and right borders. At the back, both the apparatus sport a dual camera setup stacked horizontally. The fingerprint sensor is side-mounted, as seen on previous Sony devices also, as well as the specifications of these 2 variants have also been leaked in detail.
Both the devices sport a similar layout, although the Ultra variant has a larger screen. As mentioned, the 2 phones sport thin bezels on the top and underside chin, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor involving the power and volume rockers, along with a double camera set in the back stacked horizontally. The Sony and Xperia logos are embossed in the back as well. The 3.5millimeter audio jack sits on the top edge, while the speakers sit at the bottom edge of the device.
Coming to the specifications, the report notes the Sony Xperia XA3 will operate on Android Pie from the box, and game a 5.9-inch (1080×2160 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It’s tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor, paired with 6GB RAM. Internal storage is tipped to be at 64GB. The Xperia XA3 will measure in 155.7×68.3×8.4mm.
The Sony Xperia XA3 Ultra, on the other hand, is said to sport a 6.5-inch (1080×2160 pixels) full-HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, and measure at 167.4×73.3×8.3mm. The report says the Xperia XA3 and XA3 Ultra can launch from the fourth quarter of 2018 or in CES 2019 in January.
